International Summer School in Dresden
SECAI and CeTI
The School of Embedded Composite Artificial Intelligence (SECAI) is a collaborative initiative between TU Dresden and Leipzig University, dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence research and higher education. SECAI brings together academic learning, cutting-edge research, and real-world industrial applications by supporting students, enhancing teaching methods, funding research projects, and promoting academic exchange.
The Centre for Tactile Internet with Human-in-the-Loop (CeTI) is a prestigious DFG-funded Cluster of Excellence based at TU Dresden. Its core vision is to enable near real-time interaction between humans and cyber-physical systems (CPS) across both physical and virtual environments, powered by intelligent wide-area communication networks.
Advancing Human-Centric Technology
CeTI aims to go far beyond traditional approaches in computer science and engineering. By developing intelligent communication infrastructures and adaptive CPS, the initiative focuses on enabling seamless, real-time collaboration between humans and machines. A key challenge in this field is the implementation of online mutual learning mechanisms, where both systems and users continuously adapt and learn from each other.
Collaborative Research and Innovation
SECAI and CeTI work closely together across disciplines, combining expertise to tackle complex research challenges. Their collaboration strengthens innovation by merging academic insights with practical applications, making their partnership a natural fit for joint initiatives.
Joint Summer School in Dresden
Building on their shared vision, both institutions have joined forces to organize a joint Summer School titled “AI Applications for Medicine”. This program reflects their commitment to advancing interdisciplinary research and fostering the next generation of AI professionals.
Invitation to Participate
We warmly invite students, researchers, and professionals to take part in this unique learning opportunity in Dresden. The summer school offers a platform to explore innovative AI applications in medicine, collaborate with experts, and engage in forward-thinking discussions shaping the future of healthcare technology.
